Vitamin A

Consuming foods that are rich in Vitamin A helps to get rid of dark circles and it also has anti-aging benefits.  The anti-oxidants in food rich with Vitamin A help with proper digestion and will also help flush toxins from your system, curing liver and kidney problems. For Vitamin A rich foods eat carrots, spinach, pumpkin, eggs, dried apricot, mango, peach and sweet potatoes.

Vitamin C

By eating foods that are rich in Vitamin C you will help reduce or eliminate your dark circles.  This happens as collagen increases due to the sufficient supply of this vitamin and removes the free radicals from the skin and takes care of it.  You can consume Vitamin C enriched foods such as, Kale, mustard green, broccoli, cauliflower, kiwi, oranges. Papaya, strawberries, guava and hot chilli peppers.

Vitamin K

This is considered to be by far the best vitamin rich diet you can consume in order to treat your dark circles.  The Vitamin K is good for you as it heals the damaged capillaries and arteries and increases blood circulation that will then automatically promote a glowing and healthy skin and improve under eye puffiness and dark circles. Eat spinach, dried basil leaves, turnip greens, beet greens, broccoli, spring onions, lettuce, asparagus, cabbage, prunes and coriander leaves.

Vitamin E

The E vitamin is good to regulate the A vitamin in the body.  Much like Vitamin C it fights against free radicals which can improve the condition of your skin.  You can also protect your skin from tanning, pollution, dust and side effect of certain medications.  Eat foods like spinach, taro root, asparagus, avocado, olives, kiwi, mango, corn, sunflower seeds to get maximum benefits of Vitamin E.

Iron

Eat an iron rich diet. Particularity if your dark circles are related to anemia. Deficiency in iron can hinder the supply of oxygen in the body tissue and create bluish veins.  By not including enough iron you can impair tissue production and the creation of new skin.  Eat brown rice, oatmeal. Lentils, spinach and prunes.

Eating the right kinds of food can help with many ailments and conditions including your dark circles and under eye puffiness.  Eat smart and look great.
