Question: I have Milia along with my dark circles. What should I do?

Response: I have been asked this question many times. For those of you who don’t know what Milia is, let me explain.  Milia are dead skin cells which look like tiny white bumps trapped under the skin surface.  They are hard and immovable.
This is due to natural skin oil and using heavy eye creams and makeup which can clog pores.  When skin is not cleansed thoroughly these dead skin cells remain and can stay under the surface of the skin for months if not years.

It is important to immediately stop using heavy creams and only use light makeup.  Cleanse the skin thoroughly and never leave makeup on over night.

It may be necessary to replace your oily eye cream with one which contains Pentylene Glycol and Butylene Glycol which are  both humectants. Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4 which diminishes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and restores natural skin texture. Collagen which restores elasticity and promotes healthy cell regrowth. and Vitamin B5 (Panthenol) which stimulates cell growth and aids in tissue repair.  These ingredients are included in the Easy Eye Solutions Illuminating Eye Care cream.  As many of you know, we do not promote the Illuminating Eye Care as a treatment for Milia.  However, we have received some interesting feed back from our clients explaining how the Illuminating Eye Care has help reduce if not eliminate their Milia.
